It should allow less duplication of efforts on custom guix/emacs minimal distributions. There's probably a lot of configuration in common, and I think both project could benefit a lot from each other (if RDE's API suits you).

Hi @ngraves thanks for your interest in SSS and for the good tip!
I will make sure to at some point look more closely at RDE, I really like the project and share a similar vision indeed.

A big thing for me is that I feel RDE tries to do too much and to cater all possibilities, I want something a little more focused and polished so that's why I had to go about making my own, but we will futurely for sure collaborate and share code.
I am happy to hear suggestions on things to modularize further, extract, etc.
